Gavin Jensen | Commercial Barrister

Gavin has acted for private occupying businesses, NSW corporations and Local Government Councils in public liability disputes at trial and on appeal.

Contracts and construction 

Gavin has experience in construction matters ranging from multi-million dollar disputes involving coal washery upgrades to disputes involving standard commercial buildings, commercial sheds, domestic housing, and associated industrial insurance disputes.

Equity

Gavin has obtained injunctive relief in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of NSW in various commercial settings varying from sale of franchise businesses to Security of Payment Act matters.  Commercial clients, including NSW distributors, insurers and builders, have engaged Gavin to represent their interests in Coronial Inquests, including Marathon Tyres NSW who distributed Hankook Tyres, whose AL02 failure resulted in a collision of two B Doubles, and including a builder in the death of a schoolboy at Trinity Catholic College in Lismore.
